Ustadh Mohamad Baajour is a distinguished Islamic scholar and educator, specializing in the field of Dawah and the philosophy of Islam. With deep expertise in Islamic theology, jurisprudence, and comparative religious studies, Ustadh Mohamad Baajour has dedicated his career to spreading Islamic knowledge and fostering an understanding of the religion’s spiritual, intellectual, and ethical dimensions. He is renowned for his engaging teaching methods and profound insights into the principles and philosophy of Islam. Ustadh Mohamad Baajour inspires students and audiences worldwide to explore the deeper meanings of faith and the practical application of Islamic teachings in contemporary life. Background

Ustadh Mohamad Baajour joined EPIC as the full-time Director of Tarbiyyah (Education) and Community Development on January 1, 2015. His mission has been to help establish EPIC as a hub for Islamic learning and spiritual growth.

Originally from Lebanon, Ustadh Baajour has lived in the United States for over 35 years. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the American University of Beirut (AUB), he moved to New York and began a lifelong journey of Islamic scholarship and community service. He has studied under renowned scholars from all over the world.

For 15 years, Ustadh Baajour (voluntarily) served as the Director of Religious Affairs at Masjid Dar-ul-Quran in Bayshore, Long Island—one of the largest mosques in New York. During his tenure, he established educational Halaqas (study circles) covering topics such as Aqeedah, Fiqh, Tajweed, and spiritual development. By the grace of Allah, these initiatives continue to thrive to this day.

Ustadh Baajour also played a key role in establishing Masjid Eissa Ibn Maryam as one of the most dynamic and vibrant mosques in the New York area. Currently, he is pursuing a Master’s degree in Islamic Education from Mishkah University, further strengthening his commitment to community education and development.
